Mackintosh
The “Mackintosh” silver jewellery collection features designs inspired by the work of the Scottish designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868 – 1928) who was regarded as the leader of the modernist movement, abandoning the extravagance of Art Nouveau, and distinguishing himself as a genius of architectural design, stunning interiors and elegant furniture; stylised lines and roses have been used with beautiful mother of pearl to produce a stunning collection of jewellery. Many of Mackintosh’s most famous works can be seen in Glasgow, including the Willow Tea Rooms, Windyhill House, and the Glasgow School of Art.
